工作幾小時？

美國政治家、科學家富蘭克林（Benjamin Franklin ）在十八世紀末期時說：「由於人類工業和科技發展迅速，我預計人們在不久將來每周只須工作四小時。」

大文豪蕭伯纳（George Bernard Shaw ）在一八九幾年時，說：「由於人類工業和科技發展迅速，我預計人們在2000年時每天只須工作二小時。」

尼克遜在1956年告訴美國人說：「在不久將來你們每周只須工作四天，這很快就會實現！」

在上世紀六十年代，美國參議院 成員一致相信在2000年時，美國人每周只須工作十四小時。

到上世紀八十年代，很多科學家相信隨著電腦和機械人的到臨，人們將會有大量空閒時間，多到唔知做乜好！

聰明如富蘭克林、有智慧如蕭伯纳、有氣魄如尼克遜，在這件事上全部都預計錯了。

我們就算未必可以改變其他人的工作時間，起碼可以決定自己的。
